Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tracy, I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 22 years of experience in nursing and mental health care. I provide compassionate, individualized treatment for children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder, life transitions and other mental health illnesses. I have a passion for supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, panic attacks and social isolation.

I take a holistic, patient centered approach to care, which means I look beyond just the symptoms. I consider the whole person, mind, body, and spirit because I believe true healing comes from addressing every part of who we are. That might include medication, lifestyle changes, therapy support, or simply having a safe space to talk and be heard. There’s no one-size-fits-all plan here; together, we’ll find what works best for you.

I earned my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Nursing from Jacksonville University and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatry at St. Thomas University. I’m currently working toward my Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) at St. Thomas University, which allows me to stay up to date with the latest research and continue improving how I serve my clients.

Over the years, I’ve worked in inpatient hospitals, outpatient settings, and telehealth environments, giving me a broad understanding of how mental health shows up in different stages and spaces of life. No matter where you are on your journey, my goal is to meet you with empathy, honesty, and a genuine desire to help.

If you're looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore your mental health and take steps toward healing, I'm here for you. Let’s work towards getting your life back and navigating your future. Healing is possible, and I’m here to walk with you through it.

My approach to therapy

I take a compassionate, patient-centered approach to mental health care, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe that effective treatment starts with building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, collaboration, and open communication.

My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and solution-focused. I work closely with clients to understand their unique experiences, strengths, and goals, and I tailor treatment plans to meet their individual needs. I incorporate both medication management and supportive therapy, emphasizing education so clients feel informed and empowered in their care.

My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping clients build coping skills, resilience, and long-term emotional well-being. I strive to meet each person where they are and partner with them on their journey toward improved mental health and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you and creating a comfortable, supportive environment where you can feel safe sharing your concerns. I strive to make this experience relaxed, respectful, and free of judgment.

During this visit, we will talk about what brought you in, your current symptoms, and any relevant medical, mental health, and social history. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, but you are always in control of what you choose to share and at what pace.

Together, we will begin identifying your goals for treatment—whether that’s improving mood, reducing anxiety, enhancing focus, stabilizing mood, or navigating a life transition. If appropriate, we may also discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options, including therapy approaches, lifestyle strategies, and/or medication.
