Great to meet you!

My Journey

Welcome. Reaching out takes courage, and I’m here to meet you with compassion and respect. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, grieving, or just unsure of your next step, reaching out for help is an act of strength—not weakness. My goal is to offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore what’s going on. With over 25 years of experience in social work and mental health, I understand how complex and layered our stories can be. You don’t have to go through it alone. I bring compassion, honesty, and practical strategies to support you at your pace and on your terms. Let’s see if we’re a good fit—your story matters.

I help adults and older adults navigate grief, caregiving, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and chronic illness. With over 25 years of experience, I offer a warm, practical approach tailored to your goals. Together, we’ll find clarity, build coping skills, and help you move forward with purpose and confidence.

Life can be tough, and sometimes you just need someone in your corner. I help people work through stress, loss, big changes, or just feeling stuck. We'll talk it out, figure out what’s going on, and find real ways to help you feel better and move forward.

My approach to therapy

How I Can Help?

I specialize in supporting adults experiencing:

  • Anxiety & Depression: Developing coping strategies and reclaiming a sense of control.

Grief & Loss: Providing compassionate support to navigate the pain of grief and create a new normal.

  1. Chronic Illness & Fatigue: Helping you navigate the emotional and practical challenges of living with chronic health conditions.
  2. Life Transitions: Finding meaning and purpose during times of significant change.
  3. My approach is holistic and client-centered, drawing from evidence-based practices like:
  4. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Mindfulness-based techniques.

I also integrate values exploration and self-compassion practices to help you connect with your inner strength and purpose. While I primarily draw from secular approaches, I also welcome and respect clients who wish to explore their faith or spirituality as a source of support.

As a Headway provider, I offer convenient, affordable, and accessible therapy services, empowering you to prioritize your well-being from the comfort of your own home.

What you can expect from me

With my support, you will be empowered to:

  • Manage Anxiety & Depression: Develop coping strategies to navigate difficult thoughts and feelings, and reclaim a sense of control.
  • Process Grief & Loss: Find compassionate support to navigate the pain of grief and create a new normal.
  • Reconnect with Your Core Values: Clarify what truly matters to you, even amidst limitations, and find ways to live in alignment with those values.
  • Manage Your Energy Wisely: Learn practical energy mapping techniques to plan your activities intentionally and avoid burnout.
  • Embrace Self-Compassion: Silence the inner critic and cultivate kindness towards yourself, recognizing your inherent worthiness, regardless of your health or circumstances.
  • Find Your Source of Strength: Explore resources and practices that help you reconnect with your sense of inner peace and purpose.

I believe in creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences with curiosity and openness. Together, we'll use journaling prompts, values exploration, self-compassion exercises, and coping skills training to help you reframe challenges and tap into your inner strength. I work with adults of all ages and have particular experience supporting those with chronic illness, women and caregivers.
