Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m glad you’re here. Taking the step to start therapy is a big deal, and I want to make sure you feel supported from the very beginning.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s in Social Work, and my practice is dedicated to helping women, moms, and families navigate life's hardest chapters. Over the course of my career, I’ve focused on helping people find their footing during family crises, heal from past trauma, and manage the unique pressures of women’s mental health.

My background has given me a deep understanding of how family dynamics and past experiences shape how we feel today. I specialize in working with women and mothers who are feeling overwhelmed, dealing with the lingering effects of trauma, or trying to guide their families through difficult transitions.

In our sessions, there is no judgment—just a safe, down-to-earth space where you can be honest about where you're at. We will work together at your pace to process what you’ve been through, build practical coping tools, and help you feel more grounded and empowered in your daily life. I look forward to working with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply down-to-earth. I believe that healing happens when you feel truly seen and heard, so my first priority is always to create a safe, authentic space where you can bring your whole self—without any fear of judgment.

I practice from a person-centered perspective, which means you are the expert on your own life, and we work as partners. In our sessions, I balance holding gentle space for your emotional pain with a practical, problem-solving mindset. We will absolutely sit with the hard things, but we will also focus on active steps to help you find relief and move forward.

I specialize in helping clients heal relational wounds—whether those stem from childhood, family conflict, or difficult partnerships. Together, we will work to bring comfort to those old hurts, understand how they impact your life today, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and equipped with the tools you need to navigate life's challenges with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about catching our breath and getting to know each other. There is no pressure to have everything figured out or to dive into your deepest trauma right away. My main goal is to build a comfortable, low-stress environment where you feel safe and heard.

We will spend our time starting to build rapport and talking through what brought you to therapy. I want to understand what you are experiencing, what your day-to-day looks like, and what you hope to get out of our time together.

By the end of this first session, we will have a starting point for your goals—whether that is finding immediate relief from daily stress, healing from past wounds, or navigating a current family crisis. You will leave with a clear idea of how we will work together, and hopefully, a sense of comfort and hope for the road ahead.
