Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I’m glad you’re here. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself and working toward meaningful change.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) with experience helping adults navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, strengths, and goals.

My approach is compassionate, practical, and focused on helping you build the tools and confidence to manage life’s challenges both inside and outside of therapy. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I’m here to help you move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

Seeking support is a sign of strength, and I would be honored to be part of your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a collaborative process. You’re the expert on your life, and my role is to provide support, guidance, and practical tools as we work together toward your goals.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing and feel supported through life’s challenges. Together, we’ll explore the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building healthier ways to cope, improve relationships, and create lasting change.

I understand that every person is different, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I tailor therapy to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centered techniques. Whether you’re working through anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply trying to better understand yourself, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.

My goal is for you to leave each session feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with practical strategies that you can apply in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, answer any questions you may have, and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship.

We’ll spend time talking about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also ask about your personal history, relationships, and any other information that will help me better understand your experiences. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

By the end of our first session, we’ll begin identifying your goals for therapy and discuss a plan that feels right for your needs. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together to help you move forward.
