Great to meet you!

I'm Tranesha, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has spent my career working alongside people in some of the most demanding settings in mental health: schools, community mental agencies, and crisis intervention. That background shapes how I work. I don't bring a one-size-fits-all approach to my sessions because real people don't fit neatly into protocols.

I work with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, family tension, trauma, and life transitions, the kind of stress that builds quietly and eventually becomes impossible to ignore. I use CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and somatic approaches, which means I'll pay attention not only to your thoughts and patterns, but to how stress and emotion live in your body. That full picture approach is where real, lasting change tends to happen.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, you're not a passive recipient of advice. We build together. I take time to understand your specific history, what's working, what isn't and what matters most to you. From there, we work at a pace that reflects your life, not just a treatment template.

I draw from evidence based methods, CBT, for patterns that are keeping you stuck, ACT for building clarity around your values and learning to move forward even when things feel uncertain, and somatic techniques when the body is where stress is loudest. I'm direct when directness helps and patient when patience is what's needed. What you'll always get is honesty, consistency, and someone who's genuinely invested in how things go for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a real conversation, not a form, not an intake checklist. I'll ask you about what's been going on, what brought you here, and what you're hoping things might look like if therapy actually helps.

You don't have to have the answers. You don't have to have it figured out. My goal is simply for you to leave that first session feeling you were actually heard, not assessed, not diagnosed, not judged. From there, we will build a plan grounded in what you've shared, what matters to you, and where you genuinely want to go. We move together, and we move at your pace.
