Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Travan Bell, a dedicated and compassionate therapist with over five years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. As a Black mental health professional, I understand how culture, identity, and lived experiences shape the way we process pain and healing. My mission is to create a space where you feel seen, valued, and empowered to grow at your own pace.

I’ve worked across numerous social service settings, helping individuals and families navigate trauma, stress, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My approach blends trauma-informed care, person-centered therapy, and strength-based support, meeting you where you are with empathy and authenticity.

Whether you’re coping with unresolved trauma, managing daily stress, or just looking for a space to unpack life’s pressures, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll work to build resilience, restore balance, and reconnect you with your inner strength.

If you’re ready for a real, honest, and supportive therapy experience — one that honors your story and your strength — I’d be honored to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in trauma-informed care, emphasizing safety, trust, and empowerment. I believe healing happens when individuals feel truly seen and supported, so I create a space that honors each person’s story and lived experience. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Strength-Based principles, I help clients identify patterns, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner strengths. As a culturally responsive therapist, I also consider how identity, environment, and community shape our mental health. Together, we’ll focus on understanding your challenges, building healthy coping tools, and creating a path forward that feels authentic and sustainable for you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a comfortable foundation for your therapy journey. I’ll take time to learn about your goals, background, and what brought you to therapy, while also explaining how I work and what you can expect moving forward. This is a safe, judgment-free space — there’s no pressure to have everything figured out. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and supported as we begin creating a plan that fits your needs and pace.
