Anxiety, Depression, Family Issues, Men's Issues, and Relationship Issues

Great to meet you!

I work with couples, adults, and adolescents. I specialize in helping relationships heal, specifically married/dating and parent/child relationships. I received my MS in Counseling from Southern Methodist University and undergraduate from the University of North Texas. I also treat anxiety, depression, and anger issues. I was born and raised in DFW and love being apart of the North Texas community.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a warm, compassionate, and direct approach to identifying the underlying pain you are carrying. I believe that when this pain shows up in our lives and in our relationships, it motivates us to do what we can to protect ourselves. Unfortunately, the strategies we employ to protect ourselves will often backfire leaving us feeling stuck and defeated. I seek to join you in that stuck place and together begin to explore more helpful ways of coping with that pain.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to feel heard, validated, and accepted regardless of where you are or what has happened in your life. In couple's therapy, I do not take sides or seek to determine who is at fault for where you are at in the relationship. I seek to help you arrive to your place of healing efficiently and if a way that is empowering and dignifying.
