Great to meet you!

I am a current Licensed Professional Counselor within Virginia and hold a Master's of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Radford University. I have over 10 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the community setting providing therapeutic services ranging from in home crisis intervention, school based services, and outpatient therapy. My areas of specialty include behavioral regulation, trauma, depression, family issues, and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I practice from an eclectic model and strive to utilize interactive intervention through modalities that encourage participation and engagement to provide opportunity for clients to prosper in their community and relationships. In my work I blend person centered, solution focused, and structural family therapies to assist in overcoming the clients identified needs. Additionally, I maintain a trauma informed approach and am trained in EMDR therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

My office is a comfortable setting designed to encourage client participation to establish stability, positive relationships, and supports in their network to achieve and maintain functional mental health. I am solution oriented and empower clients to be active in enacting change in their lives to meet desired outcomes through continued progress via improved interactions and experiences.
