Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome. My name is Tre Denton, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor dedicated to walking alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. As a retired naval officer, a husband of 28 years, and a father to three adult sons, I bring a lived understanding of commitment, resilience, and the complexities of family life.

I believe every individual holds the strength to overcome life’s challenges—sometimes we just need a safe space and someone to help us navigate the way. I offer a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where your story is honored and your voice truly matters.

My approach is grounded in empathy, evidence-based practices, and deep respect for your unique experiences. Together, we’ll work to uncover meaningful insights, develop effective coping strategies, and create a path forward that feels authentic and empowering for you.

You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and respect for your individual journey. I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership—one rooted in trust, honesty, and nonjudgment. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs, values, and goals.

I believe healing happens when people feel safe to explore their inner world, challenge old patterns, and connect with their strengths. That’s why I strive to create a space where authenticity is welcomed, vulnerability is met with compassion, and growth is nurtured at your own pace.

Whether we’re working through anxiety, trauma, relationship concerns, or navigating life transitions, I’m here to support you with genuine care and clinically informed insight. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes—it’s about deepening self-awareness, building resilience, and empowering you to live a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you’ll find a welcoming space where you’re heard, valued, and supported—exactly as you are. Therapy with me is a collaborative journey centered on your goals, your pace, and your unique experiences.

Clients often leave sessions with:

  • Clarity and insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
  • Practical tools to cope with stress, anxiety, and life's daily challenges
  • Greater self-compassion and confidence in their ability to navigate difficulties
  • Improved communication skills and healthier boundaries
  • A renewed sense of purpose and direction moving forward

Each session is a step toward healing and personal empowerment. My aim is to help you feel more connected—to yourself, your relationships, and the life you want to lead.
