Treasure Vaughn

My name is Treasure Vaughn, and I am a Nurse Practitioner in South Carolina, practicing since 2021. I graduated with my Master’s of Science from Ohio University with a focus in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. I have more than 15 years of experience in mental health, and I am enthusiastic about my career and helping others. I have a lot of passion for mental health and human behaviors and enjoy helping my patients understand their mental health diagnoses and offering treatments to help reduce symptoms so they can live a happy and fulfilled life, in a way that they identify that to look like. “When life is good, you are happy. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and friends, trying new recipes, traveling, and photography.

Problem solving/Solution based. Identifying problems, setting goals with patient, and interventions to help patient reach goals.

Initial assessment would include but not limited to, providing history of presenting illness including any psychiatric treatment, hospitalizations, therapy or medications prescribed. Review of psychiatric symptoms, and medical history. Review of psychosocial history, childhood and stressors. Goal setting, what are you seeking out of treatment and a treatment plan if appropriate that may include therapy, medications or both.
