Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience supporting teens and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, depression, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My approach blends evidence-based therapies with humanistic and existential perspectives, helping clients build practical skills while also exploring meaning, identity, and connection. Before becoming a therapist, I earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, which gives me a unique perspective that balances analytical problem-solving with deep emotional understanding. My goal is to provide you useful tools/skills while helping you find and trust your own inner wisdom to live your most authentic life.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic philosophy is centered in the idea that with hope and persistence, everyone has the inner tools to heal what ails them. By nature, we seek out connection and acceptance through relationships with others, but something we often ignore is our connection and relationship to our inner-self. I utilize several evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP along with a humanistic approach. In other words, I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy; we will find the tools and interventions that best fit you and your personal values.

What you can expect from me

I always start with a consultation call to gain a better understanding of your therapeutic goals and give you the opportunity to ask questions and determine if I would be a good fit. In our first session, I strive to create a space for you to explore your life story and together we will collaborate on goals for our work together. My goal is to always create a safe, warm, and grounded space for my clients. As we continue our work, I will provide understanding and empathy while mixing in some challenges and accountability (and humor!) to help you grow towards your goals.
