Great to meet you!

We all have challenges. Pretending that they don't exist only makes them bigger. Learning how to accept and navigate our way through negative emotions and experiences helps us grow, heal, and become more aligned with ourselves and tap into our strengths. I can help you work through challenges and learn how to overcome them to become stronger and create a better life.

I've spent years helping teens and adults navigate sadness, loneliness, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and a host of complex issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Therapy is a healthy way to take care of yourself. It's top tier self-care. However, it isn't one size fits all. I take a holistic, strengths-based approach to figure out what will work best to address your specific needs. I incorporate a variety of evidenced-based tools like

  • cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT);
  • dialectical behavior therapy (DBT);
  • trauma-focused; and
  • solution-focused.

YOU are the expert on YOU, which means I approach therapy as a partnership. We figure it out together.

What you can expect from our first session

I really do believe that most of the answers we seek in this life reside within us, but are often outside of our awareness. A good therapist helps you find and shine a light on what's already there. If you are ready for change AND ready to work to create the change you seek, then I'm for you. Expect to be seen, heard, respected, and challenged in the best way.
