Great to meet you!

I obtained my degree in Mental Health Counseling at SUNY Old Westbury, an institution known for its inclusive, multicultural environment and educational underpinnings. People have expressed ease and comfort in sharing their stories with me, and I have a natural affinity for being witness and support to the struggle and striving of my clients. I have over 10 years of experience in a community clinic and have worked with a diverse population, with a wide range of disorders and presenting issues.

My approach to therapy

Ensuring a non-judgmental, validating, and caring stance is quintessential to my work with clients. I strive to provide a relaxed and collaborative atmosphere to facilitate the therapeutic process at a pace that the client sets in accordance with their comfort and desired goals. I am psychodynamically trained, and can also utilize a variety of treatment modalities, tailored to a client's needs and desires.

What you can expect from me

I have had a lifelong interest in why we as humans do what we do, how to navigate the challenges we face, and how to bolster our strengths to live a meaningful life. This, in combination with a knack for analysis and digging deep, propelled me into the world of psychology and counseling, and inspires my work today. It would be a privilege to explore your story and discover what drives and motivates you, so that you can break through barriers and live life on your terms.
