Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or frustrated with patterns you don’t fully understand, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I work with individuals, couples, and families who want to better understand themselves, heal from past experiences, and build healthier relationships moving forward.

I bring a calm, grounded, and practical presence to therapy. Clients often tell me they appreciate my straightforward style and the way I help them make sense of what they’re experiencing without judgment or pressure. I’ve worked in residential treatment, private practice, and university settings, and I have extensive experience supporting people navigating trauma, addiction, and relationship challenges.

My goal is to help you reconnect with your strengths, gain clarity, and feel more confident in the choices you’re making in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, relational, and practical. I believe people already have the capacity for growth and healing — therapy is about creating the right space and tools for that process to unfold.

I help clients explore how past experiences, relationships, and coping strategies shape current struggles, especially when it comes to trauma, substance use, and emotional regulation. Together, we work to understand patterns, develop healthier ways of responding, and strengthen your connection with yourself and others.

I tailor therapy to your goals, whether that’s reducing anxiety, breaking unhelpful cycles, improving relationships, or feeling more grounded day to day.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, down-to-earth conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to change. We’ll talk about your concerns, your history at a pace that feels comfortable, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past.

You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming in. My role is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported while we begin identifying clear next steps. By the end of the first session, most clients leave with a better sense of direction and a plan for how therapy can help.
