Trevor Herron

Trevor Herron, LMHC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Bellingham, Washington. For the past three years, he has worked as a clinician with a community mental health nonprofit, specializing in supporting adolescents and young adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and OCD.

Originally from the Midwest, Trevor has spent much of his life living in diverse regions of the US and living internationally, including time in Italy, Holland, the Middle East, Central America, and the Caribbean. These varied cultural and geographic experiences inform his practice, helping him connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. He recognizes that while each person’s story is unique, shared human experiences create powerful opportunities for connection and growth.

Trevor approaches therapy as building on each person’s inherent strengths, taking incremental and sustainable steps toward improved mental health and overall wellbeing. For Trevor, therapy is not only about addressing challenges, but also about deepening self-understanding and developing insight that fosters long-term resilience.

In early sessions, Trevor prioritizes gaining a clear understanding of each client’s current circumstances while exploring the significant experiences that have shaped their life journey. He works to create a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.
