Great to meet you!

I am accepting new appointments for children (12+) and individual adults.

Trey Holmes has over 15 years experience living with chronic pain and illnesses. He uses this to fuel his passion for helping people find the light in times of darkness. Whether you are adapting to a new challenge, struggling with depression, anxiety, or anger, or dealing with low self-esteem or a new diagnosis, Trey would love to journey with you to help you find hope and freedom. He has a degree in biblical studies and is happy to incorporate faith-based counseling if you would like. Wounds and difficult times don’t have to define us. There’s hope, even in the darkest moments. Trey looks forward to walking alongside you on your path to renewed joy and positive direction.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I strive to help every client who comes into my office, whether that be a child, teen, or adult, to not only find tools to deal with their current issues, but to also build their personal coping toolkit. By doing this, they have the confidence and skills to face life's challenges. Authentic healing can happen by drawing on the inner strengths each person has, while fostering an environment of hope each time you walk into a session. As a counselor, my goal is to also help each person I work with strengthen their relationship with themselves and others, and also help improve their overall mental health. The end goal here is to help clients learn how to cope with and overcome difficulties.

What you can expect from our first session

If you are feeling stuck and don’t know where to start with your mental health journey, Trey offers an empathetic, caring, accepting, and positive environment for you to share your needs and goals. His collaborative approach recognizes that therapy works best when the client is invested and has input in the counseling process.
