Great to meet you!

Mom! Mommy, mom, mama, mooooooooom!

Parenting is a wild, wonderful ride! I’m Tricia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who loves supporting kids ages 2 to 12 and the grownups raising them. Before becoming a therapist, I was a special education teacher—so I know my way around school systems. I’ve also built a rich career in Mental Health, focusing on Crisis and Trauma stabilization, which means I’ve seen a lot and bring plenty of tools to help families thrive.

My approach to therapy

Kids make sense of their world through everyday adventures, big feelings, and lots of imagination—and therapy taps right into that! I create a safe, engaging space where children can explore through structured activities and playful experiences designed just for little minds. Play is our secret superpower, helping kids learn, grow, and express themselves in ways that feel natural and fun. Along the way, we’ll team up to engage in parent education to understand your child’s unique needs and build strategies to support them both at home and in school. As well as build out your toolbox of supportive strategies to use through your adventure of parenting!

What you can expect from me

Child:

Child centered therapy is where big feelings are met through a safe place to explore. During therapy children can navigate through imagination, creativity, and a whole lot of giggles! We will build towers, draw dragons, or act out silly stories, while working though how to express themselves, solve problems, and feel more confident.

Parent/Guardian:

Parent education therapy is like getting a friendly tour guide for the ups, downs, and loop‐de‐loops of parenting. It gives caregivers practical tools, fresh perspectives, and a safe space to talk through the tricky moments that families encounter. Together, we look at what’s working, what’s not, and how small shifts can make big differences at home. Think of it as strengthening your parenting toolkit—without any judgment, just support, humor, and real‐world strategies you can use right away.
