Great to meet you!

Not feeling well mentally is normal and common. Feeling down and nothing is fun anymore? Simple things feel like a chore? Anxious and worried about things you can’t control? Having unwanted painful thoughts and memories about the past and you can’t make it stop? Your relationships aren’t going well? Maybe you’re just having a hard time and everything you try isn’t working. Asking for help can feel scary and uncomfortable. I understand and am here to offer you help. Don’t continue struggling on your own. Therapy can give much needed support, a safe place to hurt and make sense of your pain, foster courage to heal, and offer knowledge and skills to resolve issues.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy in a strength-based and compassionate way to help my client’s learn the many facets of themselves that therapy can reveal. I pay attention to the pace of sessions so client’s avoid becoming overwhelmed by the process. I monitor distress levels to help with emotional regulation. Distressing thoughts, feelings, memories, physical sensations and beliefs are worked on with care. I use a variety of therapies for a well-rounded approach. Ultimately, it is your session and you are the focus.

What you can expect from me

I view each session as vitally important to your healing process. We will review the previous session and continue working until you have reached your goal. I will keep us focused on what matters the most to you and use therapies that are best suited to your needs.
