I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Texas who has been working in the field for several years. I have worked in residential settings and in intensive outpatient programs. I have experience in addiction, co-dependency, mental health issues, and relational issues. I have worked with a wide range of individuals, including adults, teenagers, the LGBTQ+ community, and couples. I value the ability to provide a safe place for healing and growing.
I consider therapy to be a unique and special relationship. I will help you work towards your goals by holding you accountable and empowering you. My approach to therapy is client-centered; I want to be the supporter of your journey and challenge you to create your best self. I will teach new skills as well as provide a place to explore emotions and gain new insight.
My client will end the session feeling lighter knowing that they were able to express themselves in a safe place. I believe my clients will also feel more encouraged that they are capable of change. They will have a goal to work towards and tools to achieve that goal. They will feel supported on their journey towards a better way of life.
