Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of nursing experience, with most of my career dedicated to behavioral health. I earned my advanced nursing education from Charles R. Drew University and have experience supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health and behavioral health concerns. My approach is compassionate, personalized, and focused on creating a safe space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. Together, we’ll work toward finding treatment strategies that fit your needs, goals, and everyday life.

My approach to therapy

My approach begins with listening. I take the time to understand each client’s concerns, experiences, and goals, and work collaboratively with them to develop a treatment approach that feels appropriate and achievable. I am patient, approachable, and open-minded, and I welcome new ideas and evidence-based treatment modalities that may support each individual’s needs. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you have the opportunity to share what brings you to treatment at your own pace. We will talk about your current concerns, personal history, goals, and what you would like to see improve in your life. Together, we will identify areas where I can support you and develop an individualized treatment plan that may include therapy recommendations, medication management, lifestyle changes, or other appropriate treatment options. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, respected, and hopeful about moving forward.
