Great to meet you!

I am a solution-driven individual who thrives on solving problems with warmth and practicality. I gained my bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and my Master's Degree in Licensed Professional Counseling from Amberton University. I have been a therapist since 2018 first obtaining my practicum hours at Hope's Door, New Beginnings in Plano, TX and then obtaining my intern hours at Holman Family Services in Irving, TX.

My approach to therapy

My approach to counseling is to allow the client to fully be heard. In today's society everyone is increasingly speaking but, no one seems to be listening. I will listen and when appropriate, I will ask questions that will spark the client's interest in diverse perspectives, they may not have thought of.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to be, not just listened to, but heard. Therapy is not always easy. It can be quite challenging to dispel cognitive distortions, but I can promise that I will be there to guide my client through those mind fields so they will leave each session feeling empowered, confident and encouraged.
