Great to meet you!

If you're carrying something heavy — the weight of a past trauma, anxiety, grief, or a chapter of life that's left you feeling stuck — you don't have to face it alone. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and Art Therapist with over 25 years of experience, and I'm here to help you make sense of what you're feeling and move toward the goals that matter to you.

I offer a safe, judgment-free space to identify and express what's going on inside, using reflective listening and genuine empathy. For clients working through trauma, I'm trained in EMDR — a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps the brain process painful experiences so they stop running the show. And as an Art Therapist, I can offer creative, expressive ways to work through what's hard to put into words — for the many people who find that talking alone doesn't quite reach it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, which means you decide what you'd like to focus on — I'm here to follow your lead, not impose an agenda. Every person's journey is unique, so I tailor my techniques to fit you and your situation rather than running everyone through the same playbook.

I believe in honoring your struggles while also shining a light on your strengths and the coping skills you already have. Whether we're using talk therapy, EMDR, or creative and art-based approaches, the work is built around what actually helps you heal and grow.

What you can expect from me

The first session looks a little different from the ones that follow — I'll ask plenty of questions to understand your history and, together, shape goals and a treatment plan that fit you. There's no pressure to have it all figured out; that's what I'm here for.

From there, each session starts with a check-in on how your week went, and you decide what you'd like to bring in and process that day. It's collaborative from start to finish — your pace, your priorities, with me alongside you the whole way.
