Great to meet you!

I am a warm, grounded therapist who prioritizes emotional safety while building genuine rapport. Once trust is established, I thoughtfully challenge clients in ways that promote insight and growth without undermining that sense of security. I allow glimpses of my own humanity, which helps clients feel understood while still maintaining clear professional boundaries. Overall, my style reflects a balance of compassion, depth, and seasoned clinical judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, with a strong foundation in person-centered and trauma-informed care, combined with insight-oriented work. I prioritize creating a safe, trusting environment where clients feel seen and accepted, which reflects a person-centered core. From that foundation, I guide clients into deeper exploration, particularly around childhood experiences and how those shape their present, drawing on psychodynamic or insight-based principles.

I also incorporate elements of gentle challenge once rapport is established, helping clients move beyond awareness into meaningful change. My emphasis on self-compassion suggests influence from compassion-focused or mindfulness-based approaches as well. Overall, my style blends warmth, depth, and clinical experience into a thoughtful balance of support and purposeful exploration.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, my clients can expect to feel welcomed into a calm, respectful, and emotionally safe environment where they are not rushed or judged. I focus on getting to know them, what brings them in, what they’ve been carrying, and what they hope for, while also beginning to build trust and rapport.

i will set a gentle tone that invites openness, reassuring them that they can show up as they are, without needing to “perform” or hide parts of themselves. I won’t push too deeply too quickly, I may begin to introduce the idea of self-compassion and help them start reflecting on their experiences in a supportive way.

Clients will likely leave the first session feeling heard, grounded, and cautiously hopeful, with a sense that they’ve met someone who can both hold their story and thoughtfully guide them toward deeper understanding over time.
