Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts with over 30 years of clinical experience across some of the most demanding settings in the field, including inpatient and crisis care, women's addiction treatment, school counseling, and long-term individual therapy. I am also a certified Christian counselor, which means I welcome clients who want faith to be part of their healing without it feeling forced or out of place. My work has taken me from running a residential substance use program to supporting students with learning and developmental differences, and through it all, one thing has stayed the same: I genuinely care about the people sitting across from me. I bring a compassionate, patient presence to every session, and I am not the kind of therapist who watches the clock.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is the foundation of my work, and I adapt it to fit each person's unique situation, goals, and pace. I believe the best therapy feels like a real conversation. I meet clients where they are, whether that means drawing on spirituality as a source of strength, working through addiction and recovery, processing grief and loss, or simply sorting through the weight of a complicated life. I enjoy working with clients who are ready to reflect and willing to grow, and I am particularly drawn to people who have felt hard to reach or misunderstood by other providers.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I will ask questions, but mostly I want to listen. We will talk about what is bringing you in, what has worked or not worked for you in the past, and what you are hoping therapy can give you. You will leave with a clear sense of what we can work on together. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
