Great to meet you!

I am Dr. Trinese Clark, LCSW (CA), LICSW(WA). I am a dedicated and compassionate licensed clinical social worker specializing in providing holistic mental health care. With a wealth of experience and a commitment to empowering individuals, I offer personalized therapy services tailored to the unique needs of each client.

I graduated from California State University, Fresno, with a Bachelor of Social Work, from the University of Washington with a Master of Social Work (MSW), and I received my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Simmons University.

I work with individuals who are dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. My work is also rooted in a liberation framework and socially conscious care, offering specialized treatment and education to promote social change and collective healing among marginalized and underserved communities. My clinical research and subject expertise examine the impact of race-based stigma through an intersectional and empowerment-based lens, and center on health disparities and the psychological effects of experiences of bias and devaluation in the healthcare setting among Black women.

I am a registered yoga teacher, sound healing practitioner, and health coach. I enjoy reading, cycling, golfing, and hiking.

My approach to therapy

Driven by a passion for helping others achieve mental wellness, I employ culturally informed evidence-based therapeutic approaches in my practice, blending cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic interventions to foster healing and growth. I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions, gain insight into their challenges, and develop effective coping strategies to address them.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to achieve your therapeutic goals. I firmly believe that you are the expert in your own life, and that it is a privilege to hold space for you while examining barriers to self-fulfillment and the life you deserve.

What you can expect from me

While I can not offer guarantees or promises as a result of treatment, you can expect to work with a clinician who is honest, straightforward, and compassionate.
