Great to meet you!

I am a father, husband, brother, and son. I have experienced great highs and deep lows in this life. I am grateful to help others navigate their lives. I use my clinical experience, education, and personal experience (in that order) as a guide.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have experience in many therapeutic approaches. I prefer to help my clients with a solution focused approach. This means focusing more on what you want to achieve through therapy than the problems that led you to seek help. In many instances this approach has helped my clients spend less time in therapy and more time enjoying their lives.

What you can expect from our first session

In some cases one session can make a world of difference- being heard and understood may be what you need to back on track. During the first session I will want to learn about you and the reasons you have started therapy. I often listen much more than I speak but I will take on a more guiding approach if the process of sharing feels difficult. I have learned that the things we don't say are just as loud as our words. My goal is to hear you and let you know that you have been heard.
