Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual licensed therapist who works with first-generation and BIPOC adults. As a first-generation Mexican-American woman, I bring both my professional training and lived experience into the therapy space, which helps me support clients navigating identity, culture, family expectations, and belonging.

I often work with clients who feel overwhelmed by shame, guilt, or self-doubt, and may feel disconnected from themselves or unsure how to express their needs. My goal is to help you rebuild trust in yourself, strengthen your confidence, and feel more grounded in who you are.

My work is holistic and culturally responsive. I believe healing can take many forms, and when it feels meaningful to you, we can incorporate mindfulness, spirituality, or creative expression into our work. I see you as the expert of your own life—you already hold so much wisdom, and I’m here to help you reconnect with it.

My approach to therapy

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and rooted in compassion, gentleness, and cultural humility. I focus on building a strong, trusting relationship where you feel safe to show up as you are.

I use a strengths-based lens, helping you recognize your resilience and sense of worth. Together, we’ll explore your experiences to better understand patterns, gain insight, and create meaningful change. I also support you in finding your voice—whether that’s setting boundaries, expressing your needs, or reconnecting with your values.

I tailor therapy to fit you. We’ll work together to build tools and strategies that support your current needs while also creating space for deeper healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can share what’s been coming up for you at your own pace.

We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you may have. I may ask some background questions to better understand your experiences, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once, we work at your pace.

We’ll also begin to identify your goals and what support might look like moving forward. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling heard, respected, and comfortable taking the next step in your healing process.
