Great to meet you!

I enjoy listening to clients and learning about their family culture. I have worked with parents and children for over 24 years in education and ministry. My passion is to partner with each client as they navigate new life stage changes.

My approach to therapy

I use solution-focused therapy and play therapy techniques with children, teens, and individuals. When working with couples, I like to use the Gottman theory and emotion-focused therapy to help clients reconnect and communicate in a healthy manner. All of these therapy models allow me to come into the session not as the expert, but ready to listen to see which direction we should go and what hasn't worked in the past.

What you can expect from me

Clients will be able to walk away from therapy at Families Matter with some education, strategies, and a new outlook to life.
