Great to meet you!

Therapy saved my life before I ever thought about becoming a therapist. I came out late, wrestled with faith and sexuality in Kentucky, and sat in that chair scared and hopeful until I found therapists who didn't linger. That convinced me therapy should be alive, engaged, and honest enough to move you somewhere new. I work with adults tired of talking in circles and ready for real change. I don't offer vague reassurance or passive listening. I offer perspective, language, and strategies that help you understand what is actually happening and how to respond differently.

My approach to therapy

I'm not a nodder. I won't sit across from you in silence and call it therapy. We focus on patterns, not just symptoms—identifying the habits of thought, behavior, and self-talk that keep problems in motion, then building practical alternatives you can use outside the therapy room. Sessions are conversational, focused, and purposeful. You will be challenged respectfully, supported thoughtfully, and treated like an adult who is capable of growth.

What you can expect from me

We talk about what brings you in, what you have already tried, and what you want to be different. I ask direct questions and listen closely for patterns that matter, not just surface details. By the end, you should have a clearer understanding of the problem and how we might work on it together. Most clients leave feeling grounded, understood, and less overwhelmed.
