Great to meet you!
With over 40 years of experience providing therapy and care for others, I have learned a few things:
- Everyone has something wonderful to offer
- There are always solutions to any situation
- All of us can change, grow, and be who we are meant to be
Family life can be rewarding but also very challenging. Being a former foster parent and adopting children, there are many lessons I have learned that not only helped me personally but also expanded my understanding of others and their struggles.
While living and serving on Native American reservations as a young man, I develop a desire to help and work with others to achieve a since of happiness and personal awareness. I am a graduate of Louisiana State University and Brigham Young University. I have worked with couples, families, children, adolescents, and adult.
In addition to being a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I specialize in marriage counseling, helping individuals become mentally strong, as well as addressing trauma and abuse. I am trained in trauma informed care, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral treatment, and am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II.
My clients are treated respectfully and with compassion. My goal is not to correct or confront, but to guide individuals, their partners, and/or family members to achieve a healthier and happier version of themselves coupled with positive and productive relationships.
