Troy Schimek

Troy is an experienced counselor who has worked for 18 years in Colorado, Wisconsin, and Wyoming schools. Troy has a BA in Education from the University of Wyoming and a Masters in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Troy has experience working with blended families, divorce, couples, anxiety, depression, death, grief, LGBTQ, bullying, and many other issues

Troy uses a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy to help clients work on quieting their thoughts to accept and understand their feelings and thoughts and recognize what is inside their area of control.

Safe place to work through issues and problems that they are experiencing. Along with new strategies and coping skills to help them in their daily lives.
