Great to meet you!

Here's the thing I've learned after years of doing this work, and living it myself: you don't need to have it all figured out before you show up. I grew up dealing with my own anxiety, trauma and stress, and I remember what it felt like not having anyone to really talk to. That's a big part of why I do this. I wanted to be the person I needed back then, for my patients now. I hold a doctorate in psychiatric mental health nursing and spent years in outpatient care getting to know the struggles that are so easy to hide and so hard to carry alone. These days I work with adults across Connecticut via telehealth, focused on anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and the everyday weight that builds up. My approach is simple: to give you a space to be yourself and work with you toward something that actually feels better.

My approach to therapy

I come to each session with genuine curiosity about who you are and what you need. Therapy, for me, is a collaboration. I listen closely, ask questions that help us both understand what is really going on, and work with you to find approaches that fit your life. I want every session to feel warm, purposeful, and real.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. I will ask what brought you in, what has been weighing on you, and what you are hoping to get out of therapy. There is no pressure to have it all figured out. I want you to leave feeling heard and with a clearer sense of what working together could look like.
