I have a passion for, and have worked with children, families, teens and individuals throughout the lifespan and am aware of the issues that can keep them stuck in their relationships with one another. I help clients recognize the strengths they cannot always find within themselves and help them build on those strengths. I do NOT believe in a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. I want you to be an active participant in your care and in your life.

I approach therapy from a cognitive behavioral stance as I believe our thoughts are connected to our actions and impact those responses in everything we do. Targeting and replacing the cognitive distortions and negative behaviors lead to emotion regulation and an improved ability to function and cope with everyday life challenges.

I believe in a team approach to therapy where you are an active participant in your physical and mental well being. We will set goals for therapy based upon the issues you wish to work on. We will work as a team to devise a plan that incorporates small and attainable steps. I want you to be successful and confident in the life choices you make. You truly can accomplish anything you set your mind to and I will help you every step of the way.
