Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Trudy, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than a decade of experience helping people navigate life's challenges. I believe that therapy should be a place where you feel safe, heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change.

I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, ADHD, life transitions, relationship concerns, caregiver stress, burnout, self-esteem challenges, and difficulties with emotional regulation. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking to better understand yourself, I'm here to walk alongside you.

Throughout my career, I've worked in private practice, schools, hospitals, managed care, and community mental health, giving me a broad understanding of the many challenges people face. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and goals at your own pace.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you don't have to do it alone. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, resilience, and lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it's a collaborative partnership. My role is to provide a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable exploring your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

I tailor each treatment plan to the unique needs and goals of every client. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and feel more confident navigating life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about your current concerns, your personal history, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine whether we're a good fit.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we'll identify your goals and begin developing a plan that is personalized to your needs. My hope is that you'll leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of the path forward.
