Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with 5+ years of clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, identity development, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I am trained in Brainspotting, DBT skills, mindfulness, and evidence-based approaches that help clients build self-awareness and emotional regulation.

Alongside private practice work, I also serve as a School Counselor in NYC, which gives me a deep understanding of child and adolescent mental health, family dynamics, and culturally responsive support. I work with diverse populations and strive to create a warm, grounded, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and supported.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and culturally responsive. I believe healing is not linear; it moves in loops, not lines, and I meet clients where they are with curiosity and compassion. I integrate Brainspotting, mindfulness, DBT skills, and cognitive-behavioral strategies to help clients process emotions, understand patterns, and build tools to navigate life with more confidence and stability.

I work best with clients who appreciate a balance of deep processing and practical skills, including:

  • Children, teens, and young adults
  • Adults navigating stress or life transitions
  • Individuals seeking trauma-informed care
  • Clients working on self-esteem, boundaries, or identity
  • Those who value authenticity, empathy, and a calm therapeutic presence

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a gentle, grounding space to share what brings you in and what you’d like support with. We’ll talk through your history, strengths, patterns, and goals at a pace that feels comfortable. There is no pressure to open up before you’re ready.

Clients often say they feel safe and understood quickly. You’ll leave the first session with:

  • A clear sense of your goals
  • An understanding of what our work together will look like
  • One or two coping or grounding tools you can start using right away

My goal is for you to walk away feeling heard, supported, and no longer alone in what you’re navigating.v
