Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m glad you’re here.

I specialize in working with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, and substance use concerns. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed by constant worry, stuck in a cycle of low mood, or trying to regain control over unhealthy coping patterns, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

My approach is compassionate, practical, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported—while also gaining tools that create real change in your daily life. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to distress, build healthier coping strategies, and develop a plan that aligns with your personal values and goals.

I understand that anxiety and depression can feel isolating, and substance use often develops as a way to manage emotional pain. My work focuses on addressing both the symptoms and the underlying causes, helping clients build resilience, clarity, and long-term stability.

Seeking support is a strong and courageous step. I look forward to partnering with you on your path toward healing and balance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to providing care is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, respected, and actively involved in their own growth. From our first session, I focus on building trust and creating a supportive environment where you can speak openly without judgment.

I primarily use cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused strategies to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, or substance use and develop practical tools to manage distress more effectively. I also emphasize building coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience so that progress continues outside of sessions.

For clients struggling with substance use, I take a non-shaming, supportive approach that addresses both the behavior and the underlying emotional factors driving it. My goal is not only symptom relief, but long-term stability and meaningful change.

Above all, I tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, ensuring that therapy feels both personal and purposeful.

What you can expect from me

During our first meeting, we will review what brings you to therapy, discuss any current concerns related to anxiety, depression, or substance use, and explore relevant background information that helps me understand the bigger picture. You will have the opportunity to share at your own pace—there is no pressure to disclose more than you’re ready for.

We will also talk about your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll explain my approach, answer any questions you may have, and outline what future sessions may look like. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction and next steps.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but my goal is for you to leave the first session feeling supported, understood, and hopeful about the process ahead.
