Great to meet you!

My name is Dr. Tung Phan. I am a board certified psychiatrist working in Massachusetts. I am happy to meet you!

I graduated medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine and completed psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Southwestern. I specialize in general psychiatry so I treat a range of psychiatric disorders from depression, anxiety, ADHD to bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Personally, I have particular interests in mood disorders, relationships and trauma.

Currently, I am taking insurance for psychiatric evaluations and medication management. I do not take insurance for psychotherapy at this time. My rate for psychotherapy is $300 per session.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to patients are highlighted by two aims.

First, the physician-patient relationship is collaborative which means that we will be working together with your own goals at the top of our minds. The second aim is for our work to be iterative. I think it's important to take time to reach and think about the diagnosis, consider possibilities, and really get it right so we can get you on the correct treatment. I think as we get to know each other the diagnosis becomes clearer!

What you can expect from our first session

I hope that you come out of our sessions feeling supported, curious and hopeful.
