Great to meet you!

If you’re an adult feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for real change, I’m here to help. I work with adults who want clarity, structure, and practical tools they can use in their daily lives. My style is direct, solution‐oriented, and empowering, and I bring warmth and openness to every session. Because I use CBT and ACT, we’ll practice skills between sessions and work toward clear SMART goals we set together. Therapy is a structured medical treatment, and my role is to support you with honesty, care, and a plan that helps you make real, lasting progress.

My approach to therapy

I use a direct, solution‐oriented approach grounded in CBT, ACT, Solution‐Focused Therapy, and Strengths‐Based work. With over four years of experience, I help adults build practical skills they can use right away. In session, we use CBT to challenge unhelpful thoughts, ACT to practice acceptance and build flexibility, Solution‐Focused strategies to identify what’s already working, and Strengths‐Based methods to highlight your existing abilities. Because these therapies are active, we’ll practice skills between sessions and set SMART goals together. I bring warmth, honesty, and humor when it fits, and I often incorporate brief mindfulness or grounding exercises after intense sessions to help you reset and feel supported.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an introductory space where we explore what brought you in, what you’re hoping to change, and how we can work together. I’ll share a bit about who I am, my approach, and what you can expect from therapy, and I’ll ask about your goals, history, and current challenges. I also complete standard screenings like the PHQ‐9 and GAD‐7 to help us understand your symptoms and needs. I explain how I use CBT, ACT, Solution‐Focused Therapy, and Strengths‐Based methods in session, and I’m also open to incorporating creative approaches such as music, art, or narrative therapy when they fit your style. My tone is warm, open‐minded, and direct, and I encourage your input so we can shape the process together while still providing structure and guidance. I know starting therapy can feel nerve‐wracking, so I move at a pace that feels comfortable and make space for questions at any point. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of direction and what our work together will look like.
