Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I graduated from St. John Fisher College with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling in 2016. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD within the University of Rochester’s Counseling and Counseling Education program. Outside of running my private practice I have been a supervising therapist and instructor at various local colleges.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Together we would work to recognize these behaviors and unconscious resistance. The primary goal is being comfortable with our emotions, expressing them with those we care about, and limiting suffering.

To meet this end, we will examine difficult experiences throughout life and how it has shaped current patterns of thoughts, behavior, mood, and relationships. I try to be very open about my observations so that we may discuss your experience and its relation to others (or myself) in real time.

What you can expect from our first session

I help individuals experience their emotions deeply and explore hidden or repressed aspects of ourselves. This results in the extinction of problematic physical and mental issues including depression, anxiety, trauma responses, and security with oneself and others.

My hope for patients is that they not only experience assistance in the here and now but, to ensure that they will not need to utilize counseling following the conclusion of our work together.
