I am a Psychiatric provider with diverse life experience. I have degrees from the US Air Force Academy, University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. I take time to get to know my patients beyond their symptoms. My ultimate goal is to assist you with living your life to your fullest potential.
My approach is that “mental health is health.” Psychiatry is not something that should be viewed as separate from physical health entirely. I assist patients with making meaningful connections between their real-world experiences and the clinical setting. I speak to you in plain English.
First, we will discuss your presenting problem and explore a little about how you got here. We will only use medications if necessary. The first meeting allows me to get to know you better, and for you to get to know me as well. A good psychotherapeutic relationship must be founded on good rapport and respect.
