Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tyler Lange. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Colorado, as well as an LPC Supervisor in Texas. For more than a decade, I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, families, and individuals through seasons of challenge, growth, and renewal. My work—as a School Counselor, school‐based mental health professional, and now a Clinical Mental Health Therapist—has continually reinforced my belief in the importance of compassion, dignity, and genuine human connection.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my master’s degree in Counselor Education from Southeastern Louisiana University, and later attended Capella University’s PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision program to obtain my supervisor credential. While my training has shaped my clinical approach, the people I’ve walked alongside have shaped my purpose.

At the center of my work is a quiet but steady conviction: every person carries inherent worth, and healing becomes possible when they are met with patience, grace, and a safe place to be fully themselves. I strive to create that kind of space—one where people feel supported, understood, and free to move toward wholeness at their own pace.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, relationship‐centered approach to therapy. My style is warm, welcoming, and grounded in the belief that people heal best when they feel genuinely supported and understood. I work with children, teens, and adults navigating a wide range of needs, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, and personality‐related challenges.

I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training, and I integrate other strengths‐based and mindfulness‐informed approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These frameworks help me support clients as they work through stuck points, trauma‐related experiences, and patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to create a space where people can explore their stories with honesty, build on their strengths, and move toward deeper healing and wholeness.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a gentle, structured start to the work we’ll do together. We’ll spend time getting to know your background, your history, and what brings you in right now. I’ll ask questions at a pace that feels comfortable, with the goal of understanding your story in a way that honors your experiences.

From there, we’ll work together to identify what you hope to gain from therapy. We’ll talk through your goals, your needs, and what feels most important to you. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clear plan for how we’ll move forward—one that reflects your voice, your strengths, and the direction you want to grow.
