Great to meet you!

Hello there! I’m a therapist who believes that growth and healing doesn’t have to feel too scary, cold, or boring. I’ve spent over a decade supporting people struggling through a variety of mental health symptoms including trauma and substance use and general mental health symptoms. My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I strive to meet you exactly where you are at (no judgment, ever, period). We’ll work together to understand what’s going on beneath the surface and find ways to help you to be the best version of you.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients using practical, evidence-based approaches grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, while tailoring each session to what actually works for you. My background is in working with adults navigating trauma and substance use, and I bring a trauma-informed lens to all aspects of care. I’m trained in a range of approaches—including prolonged and written exposure, DBT, parts work (IFS), and schema-focused therapy—which allows us to adapt as your needs evolve. My goal is to help you better understand your patterns, build skills that stick, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable in the space. I’ll start by walking through confidentiality and informed consent so you know exactly what to expect, and I value being transparent about how I work so there are no surprises. From there, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, along with your background and any important parts of your story, so I can begin to understand your experiences. I also recognize that your identity, culture, and lived experiences are an important part of your story, and I strive to create a space that feels respectful, inclusive, and responsive to that. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable while starting to build a connection and identify goals that feel meaningful to you.
