Tyler Varisco

I was born and raised in Lafayette, LA, and have called south Louisiana my home for the entire 32 years of my life. Helping others improve their mental health and wellbeing is not only my career, but also my passion and my purpose in life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Louisiana and have been providing direct client care for over 5 years while working in the mental health field. My goal with you, as my client, is ultimately to help you unlock your full potential and take power back over your life.

Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. Open communication is key to any successful partnership, and a therapeutic alliance between counselor and client is no different. I’ll be there to listen to your concerns, motivate you, and support you along the way.

I always start with an introductory session, where my goal is to meet you where you are at and figure out what areas of your life are needing to be addressed through therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable, while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
