Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tyler. I'm a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in mindfulness-based therapy. I primarily work with adults in their 20s and 30s with issues like anxiety, life stress, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates Eastern and Western perspectives, blending Buddhist meditation practices with cutting-edge neuroscience. I've trained in both traditional methods of cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as holistic modalities like mindfulness and modern integrative approaches.

My style centers on mindfulness meditation, which I've found highly effective both with clients and in my personal practice. While the term "mindfulness" has become a buzzword, it simply means self-awareness: the ability to know what's happening in your head at any given moment without getting carried away by it. Clients who incorporate this practice into their routine typically make faster progress and see lasting growth.

What you can expect from me

We'll do a comprehensive assessment to talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping to get from therapy, get to know each other, and determine if there's a good therapeutic fit.
