Tysheka also specializes in addressing substance abuse issues, providing compassionate and evidence-based treatment plans to individuals seeking recovery. Additionally, she is experienced in counseling with various psychotherapy styles, weight loss management, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to help patients achieve their health and wellness goals.
Education and Qualifications:
Tysheka completed her bachelor’s degree from Sojourner Douglas College in Baltimore, Maryland where she developed a solid foundation in nursing practice and patient care partnering with John Hopkins Hospital. Passionate about advancing her career, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Tysheka is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioner (AANP-C) as a Family Nurse Practitioner, ensuring her competence and expertise in the field. As of 2023 she finished her Post Master receiving a degree in Psychiatric Mental health, receiving her second Certification as a PMHNP-C.
