Great to meet you. If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, anger, family conflict, stress, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, sleep issues, or the pressure to keep functioning while feeling stuck inside, therapy can help you slow down and begin making sense of what you are carrying. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who want a safe, culturally sensitive, and supportive space to feel heard, understood, and empowered. I also support clients navigating LGBTQIA+ concerns, women’s issues, racial identity, trauma, grief, loss, addiction, chronic health concerns, and life stressors. My goal is to help you build practical tools for growth and healing while strengthening emotional awareness, communication, coping skills, and confidence in your ability to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is empowering, solution oriented, open minded, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, supported, and actively involved in their own growth. I draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused Couples Therapy, Strength Based Therapy, Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy to tailor care to each client’s needs. In sessions, we may work on building coping skills, improving communication, managing anxiety and depression, reducing anger, strengthening relationships, processing trauma, addressing substance use concerns, improving sleep, and navigating family or couple dynamics. Therapy with me is practical, supportive, and focused on helping you create meaningful change in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a supportive, welcoming, and encouraging space during our first session. We will spend time getting to know each other, talking through what brings you to therapy, and discussing what you hope to change, understand, or feel more confident managing. I will listen with care, answer questions, and work with you to identify goals that feel realistic and meaningful. Over time, therapy can help you manage anxiety, depression, anger, stress, family conflict, relationship challenges, substance use concerns, trauma, grief, and identity-related stress while building stronger coping skills, healthier communication, emotional balance, and a greater sense of confidence in yourself.
