Great to meet you!

I'm Ugoeze Onyekelu-Eze, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in both traditional psychiatry and performance-focused mental health care. I founded The Eze Institute for Performance Psychiatry to serve adults who want more than symptom management — people who want to understand what's driving how they feel and build a clear path forward. My approach blends evidence-based psychiatric care with a deep respect for each person's goals, lifestyle, and biology.

My approach to therapy

I practice measurement-based, collaborative psychiatry. That means we track your progress with validated tools, make decisions together based on data and your lived experience, and adjust the plan as you evolve. I take the time to understand the full picture — sleep, stress, hormones, lifestyle, and mental health — because these systems don't operate in isolation. My style is direct, warm, and judgment-free.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comprehensive evaluation — we cover your psychiatric history, current symptoms, lifestyle factors, and goals in depth. You'll leave with a clear diagnosis or working impression, an initial treatment plan, and a shared understanding of next steps. I want you to walk out of that first visit feeling heard, informed, and confident about where we're headed together.
