Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Dr. Ugonna Ejindu, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adolescents and adults achieve better mental health. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy through a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related conditions. My goal is to understand each client's unique experiences and develop an individualized treatment plan that promotes symptom relief, improved daily functioning, and long-term wellness. I believe effective mental health care begins with listening, building trust, and partnering with clients to help them achieve meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I take time to understand each client's concerns, strengths, and goals before developing an individualized treatment plan. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive psychotherapy, while emphasizing education so clients feel informed and empowered to make decisions about their care. My focus is helping clients improve daily functioning, build resilience, and achieve lasting symptom relief in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we'll take time to discuss your concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, and treatment goals. I'll ask questions to better understand how your symptoms affect your daily life, relationships, work, or school. Together, we'll develop an individualized treatment plan, which may include medication recommendations, therapy referrals, lifestyle strategies, and follow-up care. My goal is to create a supportive, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and confident in your treatment plan.
