Great to meet you!

Grief can change your world in ways you never expected. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, experiencing the heartbreak of miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, or struggling with anxiety, depression, anger, or self-doubt, you may find yourself wondering how to move forward when life no longer feels the same. I’m a Texas-based Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with clinical experience dating back to 2019. I work with older teens, adults, and older adults navigating grief and other emotional challenges, with a special focus on perinatal loss. I earned my master’s degree from Amberton University, and my own experiences with grief have deepened my understanding that even when you feel broken, there can still be hope and life after loss. I’m here to listen, support you without judgment, and help you find a new sense of normal as you move through your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

Our work will honor your experiences while helping you build the tools and confidence to move forward. I believe healing begins when you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. Together, we’ll explore how grief, anxiety, depression, anger, self-doubt, and life’s challenges may be affecting your daily life and relationships. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns and develop healthier ways of understanding and responding to your experiences. Through Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), we’ll focus on managing intense emotions, building distress tolerance, and developing practical skills to navigate stressful moments. We’ll also explore how your past has shaped who you are today and what you need to feel more grounded as you move forward. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and practical, meeting you where you are while helping you recognize your strengths and discover new possibilities. You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin healing, and you don’t have to navigate the journey alone.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before your first session. We’ll begin with introductions and an initial assessment, then talk about the challenges you’re facing and what you hope will change. This will help us develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs and goals. In our sessions, you’ll have space to share your story, process difficult emotions, and explore what moving forward might look like for you. We’ll work together to identify meaningful goals and practice coping strategies that you can use in everyday life. Whether you’re grieving a pregnancy or infant loss, mourning someone you love, managing anxiety or depression, or rebuilding your self-esteem, I’ll meet you with compassion and help you work toward healing at a pace that feels manageable. I offer virtual sessions to make support accessible from the comfort of your own space. You may feel broken right now, but you are not beyond repair. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you find your footing, rediscover hope, and create a new path forward.
