Great to meet you!
Hello, I’m Ursula, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing since 1997. For more than two decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with adults, families, and communities in a variety of settings — including hospitals, schools, long-term care facilities, private practice, and telehealth programs. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how mental, emotional, and physical health are connected, and how each person’s journey is unique.
I specialize in women’s issues — supporting women through life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, identity struggles, and healing from past trauma. I also work with adults managing medical conditions, anxiety, and depression, helping them build coping tools and prevent crisis situations.
A key part of my approach is exploring how culture, gender roles, and family expectations influence how we see ourselves and respond to life’s challenges. I recognize that many of the struggles we face are not just personal, but shaped by the world around us — including our upbringing, community, and the social messages we’ve absorbed over time. Therapy with me is a space to unpack those influences with compassion and understanding, while finding your authentic voice and strength.
My therapy style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. I often draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based approaches. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be open, discover your strengths, and move toward the life you want.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
